Possibly the shortest route I have walked while doing all the Monklands rights of way, it starts on Springfield Road/Main Street, Salsburgh, opposite No75, at Grid NS 82182 62515, next to a street sign which marks the change from Springfield Road to Main Street.

The path itself is unsurfaced, and runs through undergrowth SE for around 65m.
Ready to bushwhack?
At the other end of the path it drops down a flight of stairs to end on the B7066, at Grid NS 82212 62462. Neither end of the path is signposted. It is clearly well trodden and in regular use.

On the other side of the road is another set of stairs, leading to a small pond. Not on the right of way, but nice to visit.
