The path begins opposite No72 Station Road, at Grid NS 81825 67779, and heads south in the direction of the church for around 150 metres, terminating at the south west corner corner of Caldercruix Parish Church, at NS 81848 67637.

The path is tarmacadam for it’s entire length. Around 10m after commencing the path crosses a bridge, over the Edinburgh to Helensburgh railway line and joins on to NCN Route 75 at the south side of the bridge.
